Double extension for the Carin Grudda exhibition and for the “From Palizzi to Severini” exhibition at the Civic Museum

“Two exhibitions that have met with great success in terms of participation, as well as criticism, and which will still be visible to residents and guests throughout the summer,” declares Mayor Angiolini.

A summer dedicated to widespread culture, which will be felt in Montepulciano during 2024. Not only the great musical and cultural events scheduled as per the programme, such as Cantiere, Bruscello, Bravìo delle Botti, Live Rock, etc., but also pictorial art and sculpture still available for residents and welcome guests. This is thanks to the decision taken by the Municipal Council of Montepulciano to extend both the widespread exhibition of large and imaginative Carin Grudda bronze sculptures until 31 October, including the installation of the pictorial works in the Fortezza which will remain on display until 30 July, and the exhibition “From Palizzi to Severini. Italian painters between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries in the Bologna Buonsignori collection” at the Crociani Civic Museum, Pinacoteca, until next September 30th.

“By virtue of the success achieved so far and the possibility of enriching the cultural offer of the Montepulciano destination – underlines the Mayor Michele Angiolini – we have decided to extend these two exhibitions which have already received critical success so far and which we are sure will represent a further added value in the period of greatest influx in our city”.
