Christmas time in Montepulciano 2025/2026

Adults and children alike will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Christmas atmosphere by strolling through the streets of the historic center, with its traditional Christmas markets. For the little ones, at the Montepulciano Fortress, they can enjoy a unique experience with a visit to Santa Claus’s Castle, set up in the Fortress.

The market will be open on November 22nd and 23rd; November 29th-30th; from December 6th to 10th; December 13th-14th; and from December 20th to January 6th, 2026, daily from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm. It will be open in the afternoon on December 25th.

Santa Claus’s Castle will be open from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm on November 22nd (opening at 12:00 pm), November 23rd, November 29th and 30th; in December: November 6th-10th; December 14th-15th; from December 20th to 24th and 26th. Closed on December 25th. From December 27th to January 6th, 2026, it will be open daily from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and on January 6th, from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Christmas in Montepulciano is an event organized by the Vivi Montepulciano Association, with the support of the Municipality of Montepulciano.
