Calici di Stelle – 10th of August in Montepulciano

On August 10, Montepulciano transforms into the village of desires with the 23rd edition of Calici di Stelle [ENGLISH VERSION], the most anticipated tasting event of the summer. It will be possible to taste Vino Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG in three different formulas:

1. Guided tour with typical local products in two exclusive locations: Tempio di San Biagio and Terrace of Vicolo del Leone (by reservation)
2. Itinerant with the purchase of the Stella coupon which can be used in the ten tasting points along the historic centre.
3. Dinner in the eight districts of the Bravìo della Botti di Montepulciano

Attention to green issues and sustainability is growing more and more, for a totally local event that aims to promote the many local excellences at km0, from food and wine to craftsmanship and entertainment. And it couldn’t be otherwise, as the protagonists of the evening will be the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, the first Italian denomination to boast the Equalitas sustainability certification, and the Renaissance village, recognized as a “Sustainable tourist destination” by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council – GSTC.

Calici di Stelle is not just tasting, but a magical evening in its entirety. In addition to the fine wines, there will also be exhibitions of local artisan creations, a starred workshop for the little ones and, of course, live music cannot be missing.
