Work on the Civic Museum Pinacoteca Crociani. Reopening on Saturday, March 14th 2026
The final phase of the reorganization of the spaces and collections at the Pinacoteca Crociani Civic Museum will take approximately two months, starting January 17th, and will therefore reopen to the public on Saturday, March 14th.
The project, proposed by Museum Director Patrizia La Porta and approved by the Montepulciano City Council, with the approval of the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape, is funded by the Ministry of Culture. The goal is to enhance the spaces and promote the usability of the works on display, in a journey where the relationship between visitors and the artistic heritage becomes more lively and engaging.
The period identified for carrying out the work coincides with the one in which, with only two opening days per week, there tends to be a lower influx of visitors. Starting April 1st, the Pinacoteca Crociani Civic Museum will return to seasonal opening hours from Monday to Sunday.
