On the occasion of the World Wetlands Day, recognized on February 2, in Montepulciano is scheduled a trekking to discover the lake and its sceneries. The volunteers of the Circolo Terra e Pace Valdichiana Legambiente will guide the participants in the initiative that takes place in collaboration with the Tuscan Ornithological Center and the Association Tre Berte, under the patronage of the Municipality of Montepulciano.<\/p>\n
The day\u2019s program begins with the meeting at Bar Tiziana (loc. Tre Berte) at 9:00 am and the\u00a0departure from the Visitor Center of the Nature Reserve \u201cLa Casetta\u201d at 9:30 am<\/strong>. The route is a flat loop route\u00a0about 13 km long, low difficulty<\/strong>, which provides for return to the center at 12:30 am. \u201cEnhance. Protect. Inspire.<\/strong>\u201d is the slogan that characterizes this year\u2019s World Wetlands Day, the event was established in 1997 with the aim of raising awareness about the value of these environments that play a fundamental role in the conservation of biodiversity on the planet.
